Light Photography Assignment

This weeks assignment was on lighting, aperture, ISO and figuring out how to manipulate these settings while shooting in the manual mode. We've had a lot of snow recently and sometimes snow makes it hard to get good photos that aren't over exposed. I took a lot of photos that were absolutely ridiculous :0) but then started to get the hang off it more. My favorite thing after the snow is when the sun finally comes out and the sky is blue, it makes taking pictures so fun!
PS- I'm a dork and I totally forgot to record the settings I had my camera on for these shots.... oops :0)

I tried to use the snowy background to pop the green of the leaf. But I was also pleased with how the light hits the ice on the leaf.

I was also really happy with how this shot turned out too. I love how the sunlight reflects off of the icicles.

Agreed! I love seeing the light in the ice.

You don't need to post the technical info but if you want to it is stored on your pic. If you right click on your pic and then click on details you can scroll down and see the info. I post it so others can know how I got the shot but it's not critical :-)
