Backyard Swimming

So we got an inflatable pool for the backyard for the days I don't feel like driving 20 minutes and packing up all the crap it takes to go to the big pool :0) And today was one of those days, and also Deacon was over and I didn't have the SUV to truck around 3 kids. So, we did this instead and the kids had a blast! They were so funny to watch with the sprinklers. It was a perfect day for water too. Not super scorching hot, but hot enough that the water felt really good. So we spent about 2 hours outside before lunch time.

I'm hoping for a good, long nap for all of them, especially Jack. He is still suffering from post-vacation syndrome and is not adjusting well at all. Every morning this week he has been super weepy and emotional. The first 2 days I felt for him, but now my patience is running out. Trying to get through breakfast every day with tears and a melt down is not how I like to start out day. He gets better throughout the day but usually after nap it surfaces again! Although this morning he woke up earlier so maybe he'll be tired enough and just sleep out his attitude! I just really hope by next week he is back to his normal self. But I can't blame him either, I'd much rather still be at the beach haha. I think I'm still on Ca time a little bit. I haven't been getting tired until really late, which makes 6 am come REALLY fast when I have to wake up. But I'm adjusting, well mainly because I have no choice.
