Merry Christmas

It's Fall and it's pretty outside

Fall is a season where I don't usually miss living in CA. The Fall season in CA is pretty pathetic compared to MD. I'm LOVING all the colors on the trees and that fresh, crisp smell in the air. Fall is definitely moving up my favorite season scale :-) The kids and I went on a walk yesterday after nap time and it was really so I could just take some pictures of the colors. But they had fun collecting the leaves that were already on the ground. It was a fun time had by all!

Mike and Laura got hitched!!!

This was probably one of the most fun weddings I've been too. Maybe it's because of the people I was with, or who were at the wedding in general, but it was a blast! Deb was my date because we're cool like that! The actual ceremony was interested because we got shafted to the balcony of the chapel, which is fine although not necessary. They were trying to make sure seating did not fill up for the old folks and PS, it didn't. There was PLENTY of room in the main part but whatev. We had fun in the balcony anyway. It was kinda strange because we could see everyone and everything they did. The only real bummer about it was the fact that we couldn't see Laura's face as she walked down the isle..... Lame. But I saw Mike's face and he had a BIG smile.

Jack's First Day of School!

So today was Jack's official first day of school. He went once last week but Nichole and all the other parents stayed with their kids. And it was only for an hour. But today he was there for 1 1/2 hours all by himself. I think Isabelle took it harder than Jack. He marched right into his classroom without fear. I was so proud. I know he's going to love school and it's going to be really good for him. Maybe now he'll learn about personal space and appropriate social skills :D Isabelle fell in love with the school pet Chip, a guinea pig. This will definitely be her highlight of taking Jack to school twice a week. I got some really cute shots of Jack on his big day!
